Lishan Tea

旁白:梨山茶是高級工藝,要做好,真的很難。

旁白:做茶有多難,梨山土生土長的茶農,陳孟智最知道。

 

陳:在工作的環境下是原始森林,然後跟茶樹一起生長,看看昆蟲,看看土壤,想一下說下一季的茶葉我們要做什麼樣的風味給大家去品嚐。

 

旁白:說得一派輕鬆,但6年前陳孟智剛回到自家茶園耕作,一季春茶就幾乎把他擊垮。

陳:一開始剛銜接的時候,我就是以電腦工程師的方式去做管理也好,製作也好,在製作過程才發現說,這不是單單像電腦工程這麼簡單。

 

旁白:電腦工程師出身的他,千算萬算,算不到老天爺根本不想讓他算,高海拔的茶區優勢變成劣勢。

陳:在海拔兩千公尺以上高山,它的早晚溫差極大,在製作過程當中你發現你會被天氣所影響。

 

 

旁白:梨山的好,不只山好,茶好,製茶的工藝更好。

 

 

陳:茶湯顏色,綠中帶黃,就是代表著梨山茶高海拔的香氣與喉韻,你如果太青,他只有香氣沒有喉韻,那也很常有一些人會有腸胃不適的問題。

 

旁白:結合好茶與好工藝,他的梨山茶才真正開花結果。在台灣獲獎無數,更連續三年拿到比利時iTQi三星認證的水晶獎盃。

 

 

陳:我是梨山小孩,我想把梨山茶做好,讓世界因為好茶認識梨山,更認識台灣,這樣我就心滿意足了。

Narrator: Lishan tea is an advanced craft. It’s really hard to perfect it.

Narrator:Chen Mengzhi, a local tea farmer who was born and raised in Lishan, knows how hard it is to make tea.

Chen:In the working environment, it is a primeval forest. And then grow with the tea tree, looking at insects, looking at the soil, and thinking about what kind of flavor we will make the next season’s tea for everyone to taste.

 

Narrator: To put it lightly, but six years ago, just after Chen Mengzhi returned to his tea garden to cultivate, one season of spring tea almost knocked him down.

 

Chen: When I first picked up this task, I used computing skills to manage it, so do producing it. And during the production process, I realized it’s not just simple as computing engineering.

 

Narrator:As a computer engineer, he could never think of the high-altitude tea areas become disadvantages.

 

Chen:In the high mountain above 2000 meters sea level has a great temperature difference between morning and night. During the production process, you will find that weather affects you a lot.

 

Narrator: Lishan is good, not only the mountain is good, the tea is good, and the tea-making craftsmanship is better.

Chen: The color of the tea, green with some yellow, represents the high-altitude aroma and sweetness of Lishan tea. If it goes too green, it has only fragrance but not taste sweet. Some people might also have gastrointestinal discomfort while drinking it.

Narrator:With the combination of good tea and good craftsmanship, his Lishan tea really blossomed and bear fruit. He got countless awards in Taiwan, and has also won the Belgian iTQi Samsung-certified crystal trophy for three consecutive years.

Chen:I’m kid in Lishan. I want to make Lishan tea well, so that the world knows Lishan and Taiwan better because of good tea, so that I am satisfied.
